Yep more changes yet again!
We have removed the cinema and the Gallery, however you are still able to buy from our popular vendors Winthorpe Creations and Urid Dals Hat Shop in the newly extended Venus Gardens.
We now have a rather fantastic retro Jazz Lounge and Piano Bar called "Tony's" which can be reached through the Venus Gardens. It has its own music stream and SLURL, and will play no Junk, Just Jazz!!
So what you waiting for? Come on Down all you Hep cats and check it out!!

Long Time No Post!!!
Yes its been a really long time since either of us posted last. We are sorry T.T, but hopefully now we should be getting back on track, keeping you up to date with all thats going on at Rivers, and who will be playing/djing live at each event (if I am vigilant enough to keep up LOL) and of course event themes, and all that good stuff.
I can tell you however that there are some really cool changes at RoV: we now have a cinema: the ODEON - so come check it out, the Venus Gardens have had a nice facelift, as has the Gallery. The RoV ballroom itself hasnt changed too much other than we have installed the new Intan Dance System which is a nifty gizmo allowing us to clear the ballroom of annoying danceballs and instead allow you to autrezz a couples dance anywhere within RoV that you wish!! We also have a few more gadgets and gizmos such as the noticeboard (check this out regularly to keep up-to-date with events (if you dont check the blog that is :P)), the contest boards - freeing up much of my time as a Host allowing me to spend more time schmoozing with you guys ;), and finally the RoV trivia machine, a cheap n' cheerful way to chill out and hang with friends and have a laugh while listening to our ever awesome music!!

DJ Dirty-T (Tony Kurrajong) - former owner/manager/DJ of various clubs in SL and Rivers of Venus Co-Owner!!
Tony has taken a short hiatus from RoV due to RL commitments, but you will see him from time to time Rockin' out RoV with his famous showmanship. We wish him the best and look eagerly forward to his more regular appearance once again in SL. Tony's speciality is that he specialises in almost every genre and can cater to everything from Frank Sinatra to Nightwish!!
DJ Absolution (Absolut Smirnov) - former manager/staff trainer/dancer of various clubs in SL and Rivers of Venus Co-Owner!!
Yep I had my RoV debut just last week as a regular DJ, my speciality is Ambient, Smooth Jazz, Brazilian dance, Cuban, 50's Rock n' Roll, Metal & Rock.
DJ Jokker Streeter - former VLB (Virtual Live Band) member turned Rivers Rock n' Blues Thru the Ages DJ!!
DJ Falconer Maltese - former internet radio DJ, turned SL DJ, and more importantly our weekly Themed Event DJ!!
DJ Alma Fushikizoh - former Birdland owner & DJ, turned RoV bi/tri-weekly Jazz Sessions DJ
Hmmm well I think thats enough to be getting on with, I'll try to keep this up-to-date but mean time drop us a line or comment and we will see you "in-world"
